Unique Chess Set, made in Bronze by lost wax process tecnique, finished using Real Gold 24 Karat.Each piece is signed by the Sculptor.The Chess Board is made in Onix and Bronze with a frame in bronze and real gold. The vikings were an ancient people of Norway and Sweden, skilled navigators and pirates; on their ships they managed to cross enormous distances, even reaching America. Numerous legends were created about them, but they actually seem to have been the direct ancestors of the Normans. Of this people the brilliant personality of William, called "The Conqueror", assumed the guide in 1034, as Duke of Normandy and, in 1066, landing in England, he defeated Harold III in the Battle of Hastings; in this way he was crowned King of England in Westminster, imposing Norman feudalism, the Norman dynasty and the royal control of the local Church.
