Bronzed Resin Statue finished by hand in each particular detail. The “murmillo” was a type of gladiator during the Roman Imperial Age. The murmillo gladiator was equipped with a sword, a rectangular shield called “scutum”, a leather belt with metal decorations, a special arm guard made of iron and leather and a large helmet with a typical grill face visor. Usually, the murmillo gladiators were muscular and strong men, to support all this equipment and fight with other type of gladiators, like the Thracians or the Oplomachi.
